If I disconnect battery the check emissions (0420 code) and SH-AWD warning come on within a day. I am afraid I just need to bite the bullet and replace the cat converter and O2 sensors. Sad, but I plan to drive the vehicle a few more years. A malfunctioning oxygen sensor, catalytic converter, EVAP system, or other emissions control system parts might all be the root of this warning message. There is no fix for the underlying problem with an Acura RDX’s “Check Emission System” warning message. Simply said, it’s a method of erasing the dashboard’s warning notice.
